My webpage has evolved over the years. Since the advent of Facebook, people tend to look there for social stuff so I am removing most of that except as it applies to Brushy Valley or one of my other pages. I started writing about the Fraterville Mine Disaster of 1902 and that has been my most popular. I also posted information on my genealogy, and my father-in-law's Army Unit, "F-Company". I am a sports nut so I will continue following my favorite teams there. Also, I still have hopes of writing something some day so that will continue. This index page is to become about Brushy Valley in addition to being an index to the entire site. The picture to the right is Mountain view School, the heart of Brushy Valley, where I attended elementary school.
I am interested in history and have written about my father-in-law's WWII Army unit, F-Company, the Fraterville Mine Disaster of 1902 and my genealogy (Fritts, Massengill, Miller, & Carden). I have pages on sports, where I talk about my favorite teams in season. There are pages on the Tennessee Vols, College Basketball, Pro Football, Other Football, Pro Basketball and Hockey, Baseball and Softball and my new Vol Football History Page which I hope everyone will find interesting.
